Socket wrench
10mm socket
13mm socket
T25 torx
flathead screwdriver
Step 1: Remove intake (and/or engine cover depending on how your car is equipped).
Step 2: Remove battery. Disconnect negative terminal, then positive. Then remove 13mm bolt and clamp holding battery in place. Remove battery and sides of battery box, set aside.
Step 3: Remove 3 10mm bolts holding battery tray in place. Remove battery tray and set aside.
Step 4: Remove clips holding shift cables to relay levers. Slide cables off relay levers.
Step 5: Remove clips holding shift cables to the bracket.
Step 6: Remove 2 10mm bolts and 1 10mm nut holding shift bracket to the transmission.
Step 7: Slide the bracket further up the cables to get a little room to work.
Step 8: Take the metal piece out of each bushing.
Step 9: Remove rubber bushings.
Step 10: Install the new metal bushings, and bolt the bracket back in place.
Remainder of install is reverse of removal. Be sure to re-install all the clips that secure the shift cables (2 clips at the bracket, 1 clip on each cable end).
