chunk of 2×4
Step 1: If you have an aftermarket intake you may need to remove it.
Step 2: Use the 10mm socket and disconnect the battery, negative terminal first.
Step 3: Use the 13mm socket and remove the bolt and clip holding the battery in place.
Step 4: Remove the plastic shell around the battery; pull out the battery.
Step 5: You should now be looking at something like the picture below. Remove the 3 10mm bolts (circled in blue), then remove the battery tray.
Step 6: Chock rear wheels. Jack up front end and secure on stands.
Step 7: Using your jack and the 2×4, support the transmission from below.
Step 8: Use the 18mm socket and remove the three bolts circled in blue.
Step 9: Pull the plastic wiring tray up to access the remaining mount bolts. Use the 16mm socket and remove these bolts.
Step 10: The mount is now free and can be removed.
Installation is reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten all 7 bolts before removing the jack supporting the transmission.
